Although the U.S. government is shut down, we are on the park boundary. You can easily hike straight into the Joshua Tree National Park, Relax in the three-chamber cave with firepit and picnic carpet, or explore the Valley of the Moon canyons for absolute privacy. Inside, a chef’s kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a curated library provide luxury and inspiration.
The 36’ x 20’ saltwater pool is open year-round (best April–October). Evening spa and BBQ terraces overlook boulders and a Joshua tree, perfect for starlit dinners. Wildlife sightings include bighorn sheep, bobcats, and desert hawks. Hike directly into Joshua Tree National Park from your backyard.

Summary: We had a wonderful, restorative, and peaceful stay at Villa Dei Fiore! We wanted to get out of LA before our son went back to school and this was the perfect respite. The home is private and abuts Joshua Tree National Park. We saw so many animals and the rocks and flora were amazing.The pool is magical and we spent most of our time there watching birds fly by and lizards crawl on the rocks, while escaping the heat. The grounds are covered with rosemary and cypress, and floating in the pool smelling those heat scented plants is such an amazing memory. The interior of the house is full of really cool books on just about every subject you can think of. The cooling system in the house is great and we felt really and comfortable despite the summer heat. The hot tub is clean and set up against a wonderful desert backdrop and there’s a grill and full kitchen for use.Dale is a wonderful host who takes great pride of ownership. I loved hearing about his family’s history at the property and he took us on a tour to show us how everything works. He did a great job of checking in to ensure we were comfortable without being intrusive. He was very accommodating to my 6 year old son. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back for another trip!
